The Local Authority Financial Inclusion Toolkit has been produced by the Financial Inclusion Champions team to help develop and support the role of Local Authorities around the Financial Inclusion (FI) agenda. The toolkit contains a range of information, resources and briefing notes to help authorities develop and deliver plans and projects around this agenda, including tackling FI at a strategy/policy level as well as practical tips and guidance to embed FI within the day to day work of key service areas.
FI is a cross-cutting issue and the toolkit has been designed to be relevant to officers working in different departments and services, ensuring that a holistic and co-ordinated approach to this agenda can be developed within the organisation.
