Utility Trusts and Funds Open to Applications

Charis Grants administer utility trusts and funds on behalf of several major utility providers which can help vulnerable consumers to cover utility debt.

The following funds are open to applications, consumers are encouraged to apply to the EDF Energy Trust and Veolia Water Trust as they have the most funding available. Current domestic customers are eligible to apply.

Operating regions of Veolia Water (including Veolia Water Central, East and Southeast)

The trusts collectively award grants to:

• Clear utility debts

• Clear other essential household debts or purchase essential household items. These are called Further Assistance Payments (FAPs)
